In order to streamline the registration process for members who hold multiple BSA registrations, the expiration date for all registrations held by a single individual will be aligned.

Who does this affect?
This update will affect any BSA member who holds a multiple registration. It applies to both unit and non-unit registrations.

What does this mean?
For all members who hold both a primary (paid) registration and a multiple registration of any kind, the expiration date of the multiple position will change to align with their primary registration expiration date.

For example, if an individual holds a primary registration in Troop 100 that expires on 12/31/24 and a multiple registration in Crew 100 that expires on 10/31/24, the expiration date of the multiple registration in Crew 100 will change to 12/31/24 to match the member’s primary registration.

What if I don’t have a paid registration?
All members of the BSA must hold a paid registration. If a multiple registration currently exists without a paid registration, the multiple registration will be automatically expired.

When will this happen?
The update will take place in mid-March 2024.

What do I need to do?
No action is needed. The update will run automatically.
