Merit Badge Counselors

Merit Badge Counselors are subject-matter experts. Merit Badge Counselors register as members of the BSA and take Youth Protection Training and Merit Badge Counselor Orientation. For more information, contact Georg Dahl at Georg.Dahl@scouting.org.

Council Activities and Camping Events

If you are interested in running activities or stations at council events (usually on Saturdays), please contact Evan Sommerfeld at evan.sommerfeld@scouting.org and Christy Cooper at christy.cooper@scouting.org. Volunteers must be registered members of the BSA with valid Youth Protection Training. Certain stations, such as shooting sports, require additional training.

If you are interested in volunteering with fundraising special events, including our Annual Leadership Breakfast, Rick Anoia Scouting Golf Classic, or Darden Gala, please contact Christy Cooper at christy.cooper@scouting.org.

Scout Shop
