What makes National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) so super?
Like many caped crusaders, NYLT graduates are just normal people equipped with special tools of knowledge and abilities, that, when joined with others, can make them an unbeatable team.
Who?
- Scouts BSA: Registered members who are 13 years or older, at least a First Class Scout by June 21, 2021, and have completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST)
- Venturing: Registered members who are 14 years by June 21, 2021 and not 21 before June 24, 2021 and have completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Crews (ILSC)
- Sea Scouting: Registered members who are 14 years by June 21, 2021 and not 21 before June 24, 2021 and have completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Ships (ILSS)
What?
NYLT is a six-day, action-packed program designed to provide youth with the leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.

Attendance all six days is required.
Why?
As a premier leadership training experience, the knowledge gained at NYLT has direct influence for the continued and enduring success of your unit. A trained YOUTH leader will contribute significantly to retention, recruitment, and unit operations.
How much?
$275 total cost paid on or before April 21, 2021
$285 total cost paid after April 21 and before May 21,2021
$295 total cost paid on or after May 22, 2021
