2020 NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award Honoree
Jon McGlothian is the co-founder and President of The Mt. Olivet Group, LLC. As a graduate of West Point, he completed his service with the 3rd Ranger Battalion. He earned the Bronze Star for meritorious actions while serving his country.
Jon served in several key senior management positions in Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Finance with Fortune 500 Companies.
After earning his MBA from the University of Memphis, he was named the outstanding MBA student of the year. Later, he was honored as the Young Alumni of the Year for outstanding contributions to the university and the community.
He has served youth as a Cubmaster, assistant Scoutmaster, district chair, and executive board member.
Jon continues to serve the Tidewater Council, championing its continued diversification. As an extension of this endeavor, Jon continues to establish a ScoutReach program within the Tidewater Council, with a special emphasis on service to rural and urban areas and minority populations.
