The National Scout Jamboree is Scouting’s flagship event at Scouting America’s Summit High Adventure Base. A one-of-a-kind gathering of approximately 20,000 Scouts, leaders, and staff that showcases everything that is great about the Scouting America and its members. Held every four years, the Jamboree is an amazing opportunity for participants, volunteers, and visitors to experience the best of Scouting, all in one place. Features include; one of the longest zip line courses in North America, a world-class skate park, ATV offerings, treetop canopy tours, rock climbing, patch trading, stadium shows, and much more!
The 2026 National Jamboree is open to Scouts BSA, Venturers, Explorers, and Sea Scouts, 12 and up!

The Tidewater Council Jamboree Committee is working diligently to plan for the 2026 event, and will share news and updates here as it becomes available. The registration process is completed online in two locations: the Council Jamboree Payment System (Black Pug) and the National Jamboree Website (jamboree.scouting.org) (NOTE: The National Registration Link and deadline will be provided below when provided by National.)
NOTE: All Jamboree fees will be paid through the council using the fee schedule below.
The cost to attend the 2026 National Jamboree is $2,100†. What is included?
Troops may also elect to create their own SWAG for additional cost.

Requirement for Contingent/Unit Leadership. One of the Assistant Scoutmasters must also take on the role for Health and Safety. (Not an additional position but add on responsibilities.) For each Unit , a minimum of one (1) ASM must be designated the Health & Safety ASM (H&S ASM).
Health & Safety ASM qualifications – One of the following levels of training and a copy of the current license or certification must be shared with the National Jamboree during the registration process:
Unit Leader Positions: The only recognized unit leader positions for the 2026 National Jamboree are the Scoutmaster, first Assistant Scoutmaster, second Assistant Scoutmaster, and third Assistant Scoutmaster for Scouts BSA units.
