About the Annual Leadership Breakfast
Tidewater Council’s Annual Leadership Breakfast honors and supports the efforts of thousands of volunteers who provide a quality, year-round Scouting program to youth in South Hampton Roads and Northeastern North Carolina. All proceeds benefit Scouting America Tidewater Council.
About Scouting America Tidewater Council
Scouting America is one of the nation’s top youth programs for character development and values-based leadership training. Scouting programs serve girls and boys ages five through 20, and their families, with age-appropriate curriculums that develop character, citizenship, leadership, and personal fitness.
Tidewater Council is the fifth oldest Scouting America council in the United States, established in 1911. The council serves families in the North Carolina counties of Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Pasquotank, and Perquimans, and the Virginia cities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach.
