Why Scouting?

Kids need the opportunity to make new friends, interact with a supportive peer group, and participate in engaging activities. Cub Scouting provides that opportunity.

Cub Scouting offers family fun for both girls and boys in grades K-5.

For kids, Cub Scouting is all about adventure. Cub Scouts participate in fun activities – like making rockets, canoeing, archery, racing Pinewood Derby cars, and camping.

For parents, Cub Scouting prepares your child for life’s challenges. Cub Scouts learn to try new things, to set and achieve goals, to plan, to overcome obstacles – or even to cook a healthy meal for their family!

Scouting works. The research shows that Cub Scouting succeeds in strengthening kids’ character. Learn more in the video below.
